Project for the next few days: Posted on the DA accounts ~amberguesa [link] and ~mmeanwyn [link] are dozens of beautiful illustrations done by a friend for an as-yet unpublished story of mine. Obviously we've been kicking these ideas around for a while now, and what's been posted is only a fraction of the whole. She's done portraits, designs, scenes -- everything that a writer could want to help call imagination to life!

About time I put some context and commentary on the visuals, I think... so I just favorited the vast bulk of them into a folder labeled 'Ángel de Venganza'. The story is multi-part, but that covers the main idea of them all -- the biography of a Mexican-born luchador/wrestler whose professional character embodies the overarching quests of his life. Though he's no angel himself!
